Auto Logon for Windows 2003

1. start->regedit.

2. scroll to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

3. DefaultUserName=”your user name”

4. DefaultPassword=”Your Password”

5. AutoAdminLogon=1

That’s it. Happy Configure!

conflicts between network drive and external drive

Had you plug in a removable drive, Vista detected it but there isn’t any removable drive on windows explorer?
You can see the drive only if you disconnect one of the network drive such as E drive and reconnect the removable drive.

To solve this conflict, either you can increment your network drive letter or do the following.

Right click on my computer, select manage, expand storage and click on disk management, right the removable drive and change drive letter.
